Joshua Parkes is the author of the not-yet-bestselling Reprobate Series of sci-fi noir. He is also the author of numerous Purim Spiels that have been produced throughout the United States. His work has been featured in “Punk Noir” Magazine.
Born in Birmingham, England, Joshua Parkes was transplanted to America at a young age. His family lived briefly in New York before settling on the East Side of Milwaukee, WI. He is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin- Milwaukee with a degree in intercultural communication.
Joshua worked in Midwestern regional theatre for years before rediscovering his love of writing. Having worked on stage and film for over three decades, he takes a cinematic approach to storytelling.
Joshua currently lives in Glendale, WI, where he sometimes listens to the Clash and wonders what the hell happened to him.
